Why cyber risk management matters

Cyber risk is a growing threat for small and mid-sized companies

Most SMEs aren't equipped to manage cyber risk. Without a clear process to assess and demonstrate cyber readiness, these businesses struggle to build trust with customers and partners or secure affordable insurance coverage.

Cyber resilience is within reach for every small and mid-sized company — C-Trust shows you how.

What is C-Trust?

C-Trust is a cyber risk assessment solution designed for small and mid-sized businesses. It pairs platform automation with expert insights to help you understand and manage your cyber risk through a data-driven process.

Who is C-Trust for?

C-Trust is for the CEOs, CFOs, and executive committees of SMEs and mid-market companies, typically 50 to 2,000 employees. Thousands of SMEs are now in scope for NIS2 and DORA, and even companies outside that scope are seeing the cost of a cyber incident climb high enough to threaten the business. C-Trust quantifies your exposure in financial terms using the FAIR standard, delivers a prioritized action plan, and supports your team throughout the year as your business and the threat landscape evolve.

Will C-Trust help reduce my cyber insurance premium?

Insurers price more accurately when they receive a documented, quantified risk profile rather than applying sector averages. Clients have reported premium savings of 10 to 30% when presenting a C-Trust assessment at renewal (Munich Re, Lloyd's Market Association, 2024). A documented assessment also exposes coverage gaps before they become claims.

Can my chartered accountant or IT service provider deliver C-Trust?

Yes. C-Trust can be delivered through your trusted advisor, such as your chartered accountant who already advises you on financial and operational risk, or an IT service provider who manages your technology.
